This place is in a great location, quite close to the University Museum of Zoology, and the staff here are friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations.

It was great place for travelling to Cambridge, I was glad to stay there. The property was in the centre of Cambridge which was great. Enjoyed the staff; they were helpful and friendly and I felt welcomed. Everything was simply spotless😀

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in a peaceful setting with beautiful grounds. the room we stayed in was well equipped and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. the staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the porters who provided a warm welcome. the use of a kitchen at the end of the hall was convenient to store food and prepare snacks.

The checkout time of 9am was quite early and inconvenient, requiring my wife to wait in the car for several hours.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better! It's right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from all the main attractions and the beautiful river. The warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff, especially the Porters, made our stay even better. They were always there to assist us with any request, making sure nothing was too much trouble. the free car parking provided in the secure grounds was a huge advantage and saved us a lot of hassle.

One thing that was a bit disappointing was the lack of breakfast options during our stay. Due to conferences being held, we weren't able to pay for breakfast as we had hoped.

I always stay at this place for my city break. Helpful staff helped me with evening plans. It has everything I need; free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, lift, fitness centre. Nb: Tennis court, welcome drink, snack bar, coffee shop, luggage storage.

We had a delightful stay at a beautiful location in the heart of Cambridge. The proximity of Downing College to the main attractions and the peaceful surroundings made our visit truly special. The college grounds were stunning and we felt like a part of the university community. The porters were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring our every need was met. We also appreciated the convenience of free car parking in the secure grounds of the college. The room was well-appointed and quiet, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were also pleased to find tea making facilities in the room. The bathroom was very good, and although breakfast was not included, there were several nearby options for a delicious and affordable meal. our experience at Downing College was delightful and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

Despite the positive aspects, we did encounter a few minor drawbacks. The air conditioning in the room was set too high and there was no way to adjust the temperature, making it uncomfortably warm during our stay.

The double room at Downing College was really cozy and comfortable. I loved the private bathroom with a refreshing shower and a hairdryer! The desk in the room was also very handy, and the bed linen and towels provided were clean and fresh.

Personally, I didn't really use the TV in the room. But hey, I know some people might enjoy it!
